GHSA allows fall sports to return

The GHSA (Georgia High School Association) voted unanimously to allow fall sports to return, with a few changes.

All fall sports, except for Football, will begin the season on time. That includes Softball, Cross Country, Cheerleading, and Volleyball. These sports will play a full schedule and a full playoff bracket with no changes to the dates or times.

The football schedule has been pushed back by two weeks, moving the first games from August 21st to September 4th. Teams will be allowed to play scrimmage games on August 21st and August 28th. The teams will also play the full 10 game season, with a full 5 week playoff at the end of the regular season.
