City of Woodstock Having an Eclipse Viewing Gathering

A total sun eclipse will occur on August 21st, and will be a sight to see in Georgia and across North America. The eclipse will be at peak viewing here in Georgia on August 21st from 1:05pm through 4:14pm. The City of Woodstock is holding a "Eclipse Viewing Party" in Downtown Woodstock from 1-4pm on August 21st. They say bring a chair or blanket

and enjoy this rare event. The last time a total sun eclipse was visible across North America was 1918. Make sure to wear protective glasses. The City of Woodstock will have some available to the first people to arrive, but once they run out thats it. So bring a back pair to use or share.
