Firefighters across metro Atlanta are warning of increased fire threats. Georgia Forestry spent most of the day Sunday putting out 10 acres of wildfire in Cherokee County in the Holly Springs area. The Georgia Forestry Commission has responded to92 wildfires since Friday morning, as well as 16 illegal burns. They are reminding people that it is just NOT safe to burn anything outdoors at this time. Officials will continue to monitor wildfire areas across the statefrom the air, in case they should reignite.
