Request Absentee Ballots Early for November 8th Election

Just about a month to go until Election Day across the nation. In Georgia, more than 8,000 residents have already cast their ballots via absentee voting. The Secretary of State's office says though, that is only a fraction of the roughly 100,000 absentee ballots that were delivered to voters that requested them. The deadline to request an absentee ballot is

November 4th. You can submit a written application to your local county registrar, or log on to the Secretary of State's "My Voter Page" to print out the application, which can be mailed to the registrar. Be sure to allow plenty of time for the United States Postal Service to get your ballot delivered on time.

Advance in person early voting in Georgia starts October 17th.
